A few weeks ago, little Dev came to me in Hemel Hempstead from Luton for his newborn photo shoot with his mum, dad and big brother.
He had arrived 4 weeks early, and was so smiley. He also made lots of cute noises, specially after he sneezed and had the most amazing hair!
He was teeny tiny but when he stretched out, my goodness was he long!

When people ask me what age is my favourite to photograph, I find it impossible to choose.
Newborns are tiny and new and special, 2/3 month olds are starting to smile and react to your silly noises, 6/8 month olds are chubby and smiley and one year olds are pure hilarious mischief.

Looking back through the images, some seem like forever ago and some like yesterday. It’s crazy to think that some of these babies will be turning 1 in a few weeks.

Every Christmas, along with all the fancy, pretty decorations, my mum still gets out decorations from when we were a baby and when we were at school.
Now some of these decorations are barely holding it together anymore (not surprising considering they’re at least 25 years old!) but the sentiment behind them means they get pride of place each year.
