Finley's Newborn Photo Shoot | Harpenden
/Finley and his family live in Harpenden and came to Hemel Hempstead for his newborn photo shoot when he was a couple of weeks old.
We started with family pictures, which included having photos with his older, and very loving big brother.
Some big brothers and sisters want nothing to do with their baby siblings, some are a bit too hands on but Miles was perfect and very well behaved.
It’s not very often that I break out the darker backgrounds, but when I do I absolutely love it!
For those of your who are local, I got this fabric from Needlecraft in Hemel Hempstead. I’m guilty of popping in there every now and then to see what material they have and when I saw this one it was a must have!
I bought this wrap completely seperately but they go together perfectly.
I love using personal items during a newborn photo shoot. That could be a blanket or something made by a family member. In Finley’s case he had his mum’s old teddy bear and a little fox comforter, which he looks so cute snuggling up to.
From the dark grey, we moved onto the light where he slept soundly both on his back and curled up on his tummy.
I like to try and finish my newborn photo shoots on some kind of furry blanket. Whether your baby is still asleep or has woken up, these set ups are a nice, natural way to finish the shoot.
Now of course I can’t let a newborn shoot go past without capturing all those little details. Check out these gorgeous tiny toes!
