Zia’s Newborn Photo Shoot in Milton Keynes

Sometimes a newborn walks (well…is carried) in the studio and I am blown away by their hair. This was very much one of those occasions!

Just look at that gorgeous head of hair!

Some families stick in your head for being extra lovely and this is one of them.

We started with family photos (can you cope with the cuteness of this family of four) before moving onto sibling photos, Zia’s big brother was extremely well behaved both through the family and sibling photos. I ADORE the images of him cuddling her.

After that it was time for Zia’s time in the spotlight by herself.

She spent a good portion of the shoot asleep, meaning we got some gorgeous wrapped and posed images but also woke up for a while so I could capture lots of cute newborn expressions. She was very calm when awake as well, which is perfect.

As with all newborn photo shoots, I always try and capture those tiny little details that stay small for such a short amount of time. Those chunky little rolls, sticking up hair, eyelashes, lips and nose. They’re so important to capture at this age.
