As much as I’d like to say I am some kind of baby settling wizard (some parents even call me one!) I actually have a list of go-to tricks I turn to during your newborn shoot to keep your baby calm, happy and sleepy.

Whenever a newborn shows up with hair I always get really excited.
I don’t know what it is but babies with hair are just so adorable!
Not only does little Lilian have gorgeous hair, she has beautiful big eyes, which she loved to show me as she was very wide awake at the beginning of her newborn photo shoot!

Pregnancy flies by in a rush of appointments, shopping for essentials and making sure you finish everything you need to at work before maternity leave starts.
Having a baby is a huge life milestone, and you want to capture every precious moment of it.
