Baby Isla came to me for her newborn photo shoot along with her big sister.

I like to start with family and sibling photos at the beginning of every newborn photo shoot (if you choose to have them). Once they’re done, everyone can sit back and relax and not worry about having to stay clean! It also means if any big brothers or sisters don’t want to be in the photos at the beginning we can try again at the end.
It wasn’t an issue with Isla’s big sister though - she was the perfect little model. Just look at that little kiss!

After sibling photos I moved onto props.

When you’re booking your newborn photo shoot you can tell me all about what kind of photos you’d like - whether that inlcudes props or not, colours, set ups, headbands etc. For Isla’s shoot we used a crate and a bowl and kept things quite neutral with just a bit of colour.

She slept soundly throughout most of her shoot, letting me gettly move and position her while switching out hats and headbands.
She did wake up for a short time, but I don’t mind that at all because I got some gorgeous images with her eyes open.
