Darcie's Newborn Photo Shoot | Hemel Hempstead
/I first met the lovely Montgomery family back in 2015 when they were expecting their first son, George. We've done Maternity, Newborn, Christmas, 6 month & 1 year shoots together and it's been really great getting to know them and watching little George grow up.
When they got in touch to let me know they were expecting baby number 2 I was very excited! We discussed everything they wanted from this next newborn shoot and counted down the days till her arrival.
Meet Baby Darcie!
For Darcie's newborn photo shoot they came to my house in Hemel Hempstead. We kept things nice and natural, similar to her big brother's photo shoot a couple of years before but with a few extra girly touches.
One of the best things about them coming to my house for their shoot is that I got to take these gorgeous family photos for them. Just look how tiny Darcie looks in her mum's arms.
Also, 10 out of 10 for the colour palette matching outfits mum and dad!
Next, it was Darcie's time to shine,
I started by wrapping her up snug and placing her in a crate with my favourite headband. I just love the flowery blanket that's underneath her.
She was super comfy being wrapped up and snoozed away happily.
After the crate I moved her onto simple blankets and the gentle posing could begin. I started by placing her gently on her side and then moving onto her tummy. How cute is that little bit of hair that was just determined to stick up throughout?
There is generally part of a photo shoot where a newborn wakes up. Capturing their expressions as they either fall asleep or wake up can be very cute and very funny!
You can't forget the little details! Only this tiny for such a short amount of time.
It was an absolute pleasure photographing the Montgomery's again and I already can't wait to see them for Darcie's 6 month photo shoot!
