High Wycombe Photographer | The Montgomery Family
/I first met the Montgomery family before they even became the Montgomery family back in September 2015.
There was talk of a wedding but the main focus at that time was the little bump that was soon to arrive.
The Maternity Session
The majority of their session took place at their house in High Wycombe (which is one of the most hilly places i've ever been!)
I adore so many of the images from this session. I love the one peeking through the door at them on the bed, the gorgeous natural light of the mum to be looking out of the window and them laughing outside at the park.
The Newborn Session - Meeting Baby George
Just a few weeks later it was time to go back and meet baby George. You could tell straight away that his mum and dad absolutely adored him and his squishy little cheeks!
I love including little bears like the one below to personalise the session for families. I myself can't believe that it was so long ago that he was born!
Christmas 2015 - i love santa!
In addition to their My First Year package, I also got Christmas cuddles when George came for a Christmas mini session. You can just see those curls starting to appear!
Milestone Session - 6 months and the chubbiest of cheeks!
As always, time flashed past and it was time for George's next session. His cheeks were at their chubbiest at this point and he was jjuusssttt starting to master the art of sitting by himself.
We had a few outfit changes - including super cute naked images and also got some pictures with mum and dad.
I love re-using locations to show how time has passed. This is the window that Sara looked out of when she was pregnant and stood in front of while holding her newborn.
Milestone session - George turns 1!
1 year old sessions are the most unpredictable, funny and crazy of them all! At this point toddler really is boss, and it's my job to play, chase and have fun, taking pictures as we go.
George was now sitting and crawling like a pro and had grown himself a full head of the most gorgeous curls. His little personality was out in force and you can really see it in the images below.
See that sock he's holding? Well when a 1 year old doesn't want to stay still, sometimes playing catch with a sock is the only asnwer!
I LOVE the image below. Love it! And yes...he still has the sock!!
To finish the session, chaos resumed in the living room. It was time for playing, family and mess - because it doesn't get much better than that!
The session ended with chat and speculation of when baby number 2 might come along, which left me full of excitement that my journey with this family might not yet be over.
Personally I think George would love a little sister... :D
