Everyone meet Sophie.

Sophie is my best friend’s little girl therefore essentially my niece (you know how these things work!)

When planning her Cake Smash I knew that Sophie needed something nice and colourful. I’d been wanting to try a balloon arch for a while so a Rainbow theme seemed like the perfect idea.

For ‘clouds’ I used the toy stuffing I had used as snow from my Christmas Mini shoots and then the little rainbow is from Amazon and was actually her birthday present. Apparently it’s turned into a favourite toy to fight over with her big brother recently!
Her outfit is from Etsy (and is now in my Cake Smash wardrobe) and the cake is from Sainsbury’s and matched the set perfectly. It is a bit on the sweet side, but luckily the majority of the cake gets thrown across the room in a Cake Smash rather than eaten!

Sophie really had a great time and after a little poking at the icing, wasn’t afraid to dive right in.

We finished with a bath in my little tin tub with lots of clapping, splashing a smiles. They make for really cute photos and get your little one clean at the same time so it’s a win win!
