Newborn Photo Shoot Hemel Hempstead | Daisy
A few weeks ago, Daisy came for her newborn photo shoot at my house in Hemel Hempstead.
Daisy is my cousin’s baby and the fact my baby cousin now has a baby is simply insane.
(Ok so he’s not quite a baby himself anymore)
We started the photo shoot with parent photos. I always tell parents it’s completely up to them whether they want their baby to be naked in these (it comes with a 90% guaranteed risk of getting wee’d or poo’d on!) and they decided that a little vest would probably be best!
Autumnal goodness!
I loved using this setup over the autumn months. Baby’s always love getting wrapped up and snuggling into this crate and Daisy was no different.
Next we moved into the bowl and I let those tiny newborn feet poke out.
Aaaannndd stretch.
In the switch over to a new blanket, she decided it was time to wake up for a bit and flash us her gorgeous eyes and a little hint of a smile.
She soon settled down into a deep sleep again and I started to position her first on her side and then onto her tummy.
Not all newborns like all positions and I’ll never make a baby lay in a pose they aren’t comfortable in. I watch out of wriggles and listen out for groans and if they aren’t liking it, we move on.
Daisy seemed perfectly happy with every pose, specially her front as she snuggled up cosily and kept snoozing away.
I of course had to get my little daisy headband out for her.
